Our church started in 2024 with a few families gathering weekly in kitchens & living rooms over breakfast and bible study. As we began to grow, we quickly needed a larger space and found this beautiful old church in Corinth/Hogansville, Ga. As we were looking for a building to call home, someone remembered a quote: "A church building by itself is not worth a bent penny, its the people inside that matter to God." And thus, Bent Penny Christian Fellowship was born. Our church facilities are just a space to gather, but we are the church, the body of Christ.
Our fellowship is modeled after the early church as demonstrated in Acts Chapter 2. This means that our weekly gathering is focused on Christian fellowship, breaking bread, prayer, and the study of the Word.
We engage in a weekly expository study of the Bible chapter by chapter, and verse by verse. We believe that discipleship is fostered in an environment that incorporates and encourages discussion, interaction, personal testimonies and the study of scripture to discover Biblical truth.
